About Us
Gyan Vigyan Academy was established in 2007 with the vision not only to create a benchmark in the education scenario but also to mould students to be successful enough in establishing themselves in this competitive world.
A strong foundation leads to the construction of a good building. Similarly, the choice of a proper institution plays a pivotal role in shaping one’s career that tends to complement an individual in the race of life. Choosing an institution is one of the most important decisions that students, as well as guardians, take and this tends to leave its mark for the rest of their life. Gyan Vigyan Academy is an institution that helps in the all-round development of students.
A sugar board, in the context of schools, refers to a visual display designed to educate students about the harmful effects of excessive sugar consumption. These boards highlight the sugar content in common foods and beverages, aiming to raise awareness about the health risks associated with high sugar intake, such as childhood obesity and type 2 diabetes.
Visual Representation: Sugar boards typically feature visual aids like charts or posters that display the amount of sugar (often in teaspoons) present in popular packaged foods and drinks like soft drinks, juices, and snacks.
Educational Purpose: The primary goal of these boards is to empower students to make informed dietary choices by showing them the hidden sugar content in their everyday food and drinks.
Health Awareness: By illustrating the sugar content in a relatable way, sugar boards aim to educate students about the potential health risks of excessive sugar consumption, such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and dental problems and providing with healthier alternatives.
